Verify a certificate

Anyone can check a Chronicled certificate — no account needed. Paste the link an applicant or artist gave you, or drop any copy of the image and the invisible watermark will find its record.

From a link or ID

Certificate links look like chronicled.art/verify/…. The ID alone works too.

From an image

Works on screenshots, crops, and re-saved copies — every watermark layer is checked and the strongest match reported.

What a certificate shows you

A summary strip — status, certification points, sessions over time, and the Bitcoin anchor — then plain-English checks that each pass or fail: the session chain is intact, every session is signed, the record is anchored, the watermark resolves. Below that, the creation timelapseshows the piece taking shape session by session.

Nothing requires trusting Chronicled. Every certificate offers its Bitcoin proof for download; anyone can confirm the timestamp against the public chain with the open-source OpenTimestamps tools. How the points are earned is published in full in the Methodology.
